Creative Arts will cover, in overview, the field of fine crafts and explore ideas and materials not covered in the typical “fine arts class”. Students will be introduced to a variety of media such as formed glass, mosaic, weaving, dyeing, recycled art, metals, silk screen, jewelry, calligraphy, installation art, and object making techniques. Students will be required to write and talk about their work and the work of their peers. Students will also be required to do research on concept development and the history of fine craft.
